History

History
The Bedouin community was expelled from Bir Esbea' (Be'er Sheva) in 1948. They settled originally in Yatta and arrived to this area due to the lack of grazing lands in Yatta.

A training zone of the IDF severely restrict grazing areas, and evacuations for military training take place on a regular basis. When receiving the evacuation orders the community moves to the southern side of the road, in the lower area.
