Public transportation runs from A'uja. A bus provided by the PA collects the students of the community to schools.
Water Access - details
The only water source is an an exposed irrigation ditch flowing within 300 meters of the community, but the community does not use it. They buys water tanks from the village of A'uja.
Electric Connection - details
Several solar panels were installed by the Ma’an Foundation. The panels provide 2-3 hours of weak electricity in the evenings after charging the batteries all day. The electricity is only sufficient to run a television or small refrigerator, and does not contribute to the production of dairy products.

History
The community was expelled from Ein Gedi in 1948. The lived in Ras Ein-Al A'uja since 1970.

Seasonal Movement - details
There is winter and summer migration between the community and the mountains near Huwwara and Nablus, where they go during the summer. Some families leave for the mountains in April, but all return by October.

General Livelihood - details
The community has approximately 1500 sheep. They sell sheep products in Jericho either directly or through two middlemen who bring the goods to the markets. Sometimes residents of the community work in agricultural in settlements, but it is rare. The family of the representative worked in tourism and they made tours around the spring of Al A'uja.

The army sometimes come at night to the community to search. The community reports that the settlers from the nearby settlements have intimidated shepherds and have stolen, shot and killed several sheep and donkeys.
